I had friends who were in fraternities but they were so non-chalant about it I didn't assume it was really anything. As I became closer with my pledge brhos, big brho, big sis and other actives I started realizing it was something more. I didn't have many friends at school coming into the fraternity and what I got out of the fraternity/pledging was more than I could've asked for. I didn't just get friends I got something much deeper than that I got people who started to think and act like me who found humor in the same things, people who were annoyed by the same things, and people who enjoyed the same things. I thought the term brother was a generic term but now that I put a meaning behind the term I feel comfortable to call them my brothers.
