What Alpha Psi Rho means to me:
Alpha Psi Rho is my fam, straight up. They always got my back. When I left San Diego, I thought that I wasn’t leaving too much behind. Most of my friends were really caught up in school, work, and just trying to assimilate into “the real word” or had moved away. When I joined Alpha Psi Rho, not only did I have newfound brothers in Northridge, but over 100 more that I still needed to get to know back home in San Diego.
I’ve moved back to San Diego now, but I’ve moved back to a new life.
Even though I didn’t know our Alpha Chapter bRhos as well as the bRhos at CSUN, they still welcomed me like family.
It was, and still is, an experience of a lifetime.
How I met my big bro:
I didn’t really talk to my big bRho much before I pledged for Alpha Psi Rho. I hardly even saw him around. Then I got him as a big bRho.
Cool guy, doesn’t talk a lot, always caught up in studying, but cool guy nonetheless. He was one of my roommates for the Spring semester, and he ain’t easy to live with. Damn Cocoa Pebbles fillin’ up the pantry. Haha. Just playin’. Just ‘cause he’s quiet doesn’t mean he doesn’t care what you’re talking about….or maybe it does. Who really knows. Watch out for his left, too. “Don’t let the tiger out of the cage.” Haha.
